VQA-32 Tied Scrap Quilt

This bright and cheery scrap quilt is not a triumph in precision patchwork, but it has heart. It is tied, every once in a while, with blue thread. The patches probably drained the maker's scrap basket. Many of them have been "poverty piece" to make do. A very thrifty quilt whose batting somehow escaped years ago. It is bordered with a likable large pink print.
The quilt is very flat and would be a nice "summer" quilt.
This quilt earned $50 for the AAQI.
