This quilt has intense colors and a bold design, marred by five groupings of large holes, and a few much smaller holes. The back has been patched, as have several places on the front.
It is heavily hand quilted in a fan pattern and the binding is in pretty good shape. Six of the nine blocks could be salvaged for other projects.
This quilt has had a hard life and deserves to be rescued and appreciated, despite its scars.
This quilt earned $40 for the AAQI.
