Statement: Most of my quilting output has gone to charity in one form or another - I always seem to make time for the charity quilts over ones for me (ask my kids!). When I found the AAQI, I was excited by the prospect of yet another outlet for my creativity, and I believe that Alzheimers will be a huge problem as my generation ages - unless we find a cure through research!
The quilts are small, so they're not a huge commitment, but the money they raise can make a big difference.
