We have enough regular stickers at this time. However, we desperately need them for IQF Houston. (Please be patient; the page loads very slowly because there are so many quilts!Download the and print "I Saw The Quilts" stickers for
White Glover Volunteers to sticker visitors (with permission) who come to see
Alzheimer's Illustrated: From Heartbreak to Hope. Contact the next
venue in line and ask for their mailing address so that you can send ship them ahead or bring them with you when you come to see the quilts.
You can always include pages of stickers when you ship your
Priority: Alzheimer's Quilt. When the touring quilts come home Ami can replenish the stock.
Wearing an "I Saw The Quilts" sticker is a badge of honor, like an "I Voted" or an "I Gave Blood" sticker.
It is a conversation starter, and encourages people to see the quilts. This is an emotional exhibit, and seeing someone who "survived" may give others courage to see it too. Stickered folks are walking mini billboards at the quilt show (and at restaurants nearby when they forget to take them off) letting others know that while this is a difficult and emotional exhibit to see, it is worthwhile.
I picked the most readily available printer labels I could find for the stickers. It is the ubiquitous "mailing label" that measures a modest 1" x 2 and 5/8". I bought a pack of self-adhesive, white, store-brand, mailing labels from OfficeMax for $7.49. There were 25 sheets in the pack, 30 labels per sheet, for a total of 750 labels. They are the same labels as Avery #5260. OfficeMax offers two kinds of labels: for use with laser or ink-jet printers. Look down at the bottom of the pack, to the left of the number of labels in the package, or ask for help to make sure you get the right one for your printer.
Obviously, since nothing is ever that easy, make a test on regular paper first to make sure everything lines up, and figure out what setting you need for labels in your printer. You'll probably want to feed them in through the by-pass tray, with a label (thicker paper) setting if you use a laser printer.
You have two choices for printing. You can print from a PDF document (preferred) or a Word document. Please select the appropriate link below. (Print off this page so when you get the file, you'll know what to do.) A free Adobe PDF reader is available
