Statement: I would like to make the $1,000 promise. I’m doing this in honor of my grandmother, Ella Richards Nelson, who slipped away from us because of Alzheimer’s Disease; and in honor of my other grandmother, Bertha Wise Maust, who taught me to love quilting.
