Statement: I would like to join the $1000 Promise to honor all the families struck by this dreadful disease. Although I don’t know of any Alzheimer’s Disease in my own family, my husband’s family has gone through this with his grandmother. I would like to see a future where all members of society can live long lives with their memories intact. I also love to make small quilts and find that this is a wonderful way to try new techniques in a small format. I love to hand stitch and create original designs. I hope that through my art I can do my small part to rid the world of Alzheimer’s. I am also a member of the Quilt-A-Month Club.
