Fabrics, thread and sewing machines have always been a part of Beth’s life. She primarily focused on garment sewing during 25 years of owning a Bernina sewing machine dealership in Columbus, Ohio. After selling the business, she started quilting while caring for her mother who was an Alzheimer's patient.
Her mother had always been an avid quilter and simply “playing with the fabrics” made the connection between mother and daughter and brought hours of joy.
During this time Beth’s skills and passion for contemporary quilting grew by leaps and bounds. Now her focus is exploring her artistic side through creating original quilts and exhibiting at venues across the country such as IQA in Houston and AQS in Paducah. Although she has won numerous ribbons, she is extremely proud of the “Viewer’s Choice” Award at the National Quilting Association Annual show, 2009, Columbus, Ohio. firstname.lastname@example.org
