Quilt Auction
This is a SLOW & SILENT AUCTION running from May 1st through 10pm EST on Saturday, May 10th, 2008. The rules have changed. Please read them before you bid. - Use the "BID NOW" link below, or the "BID NOW" button on the individual quilt pages. Current bids will appear on this page by each quilt. (If no amount is visible, the quilt has not yet received a bid.) This is NOT an automated system. Bids will be manually updated on the web page at least once every day. Ami will not be near a computer on May 4th, so the quilts will not be updated on that day. Check the web page often as you will NOT be emailed if you are outbid. You will be emailed when your bid is read. (Check your spam folder.)
- All fields are required with every bid. Bidders will be identified online by a unique BidName which must be easy for Ami to type, less that 8 digits long, and contain no spaces or funky characters. If you do not pick one, an embarrassing BidName will be selected for you. You will type your BidName (BD) on the subject line of your bid email.
- The quilt will be awarded to the highest bidder via email submitted before the cut-off time. We are not responsible for late, misdirected, lost, or bounced emails.
- Bids are in US dollars, for full dollar amounts only. Blessed are the bidders who bid in $5, $10, and $20 increments as they shall give Ami time to shave the other leg.
- All sales are final. Payment is due by the 13th, Visa or Mastercard. Winning bidders will be notified by email when the web page will be updated and ready for you to purchase your quilt. Purchase your quilt online from this web page. If you can't pay for your bid by the 13th please don't bid. Late-payers will be banned from all further auctions and Ami will say bad things about them under her breath.
- Winning quilts will be shipped priority mail.> You will be charged shipping, insurance, and (if you live in Michigan) 6% sales tax. Ignore the automatically generated invoice. Ami and Debbie will send you a revised invoice when your quilt(s) ship. Yes, they can save you shipping by putting multiple quilts in the same package.
- All profit is used to fund Alzheimer's research. Your generous bid is appreciated by the artists who made these beautiful quilts and by everyone struggling to end this disease.
- Dowels or other devices needed to display your quilt are not included.

If for any reason the bid button does not work on your browser, send your bid to AAQIAuction@aol.com. You must fill in the subject line with the QUILT NUMBER, AMOUNT OF BID, and unique BIDDER IDENTITY. In the body of the email type your full name, mailing address (the one your credit card statement is sent to), and daytime phone number. Do this for every bid, otherwise your bid will not be accepted. I will email you when I receive/process your bid. I do not live online. Wait 24 hours before wondering electronically if I got your bid. Check your spam folder FIRST.
