Orlando Modern Quilt Guild (Orlando, FL)
The Orlando Modern Quilt Guild (OMQG) asked its members to create Priority: Alzheimer's Quilts, due in February 2012. Each participating member randomly picked crayons from a bag and used fabric matching the crayons to create their quilts.

Several guild members were already active in making quilts for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative and encouraged other members to participate. The guild enthusiastically rose to this challenge and has plans for additional challenges to benefit the AAQI.

The Orlando Modern Quilt Guild, an official branch of The Modern Quilt Guild, was formed in March of 2010. The guild has more than 25 members and enjoys monthly meetings, member demonstrations, show-and-tell, BOMs, challenges, monthly Sew Days, field trips, workshops, trunk shows, and participates in community charity projects. All level of quilters are welcome to join the camaraderie and talent thar the OMQG's members are so willing to share.
