Ami Simms visited the Ohio Valley Quilters' Guild
in May 2012. The guild made 56 Priority: Alzheimer's Quilts and presented them to Ami during the meeting when she did a delightful program. Needless to say, Ami and many members were reduced to tears!
The Ohio Valley Quilters' Guild (OVQG) was founded in April, 1981, by people interested in preserving the heritage of quilting, promoting excellence in the art, and communicating old and new ideas. The OVQG has over 300 members from around the Cincinnati Tri-State area. We have monthly meetings featuring programs by nationally known and area quilters, offer various workshops and have several neighborhood groups.
