Marcia Middents (Tempe, AZ)
Marcia started quilting twelve years ago when her sister, Linda, dragged her to quilt shops every time she visited. Her first quilt was bedspread sized with Ohio Star blocks for daughter, Annie. After that first experience, she vowed to never make another quilt with triangle patches. Many quilts, and many triangle patches later, she has become an avid quilter, designing and making quilts for family (including husband, Mark and son, Greg), and friends. She is especially proud of the copyright she was granted for her original design called “Hearts to You.”
Marcia was hooked on making Priority Quilts in 2007 when her first quilt, “Thongs for the Memories” sold in an auction. She loves the opportunity to be creative while helping the AAQI and is honored to have her quilts included in this exhibit.
