Statement: I find this disease especially terrible. To literally lose oneself, one's memories, talents, experiences, and family connections while still being here physically is very frightening to me. This is my chance to do something about it!

I have enjoyed making the little quilts for the cause. It's been my observation that all quilters have so many ideas, they'll never have time to make them all, so make them small and get it out of your system! I use the project to have fun, play with my ideas, and try new techniques. One (# 821) has even become a larger quilt which has won several ribbons.

Thanks to Ami and her helpers in the project, to the others who make the little quilts, and to the buyers of our work. Together we'll beat this disease!
