Materials/Techniques: Machine piecing and quilting; bead embellishment.

Artist's Statement: The fabric for this quilt just seemed to be a perfect fit for this quilt as the colors complemented the logo. It also reflects the joy of rebirth in the springtime with bright colors, the colors we hope will return to lives when the cure for Alzheimer's disease is found.

The quilt features names of 53 quilting luminaries who were in attendance at the International Quilt Festival, Houston, Texas, October 2009.
