Artist's Statement: I was inspired by the trees on our street as I walked back from the school bus stop.

Dedication: Our family is fortunate not to have been touched by this disease. But there is a man that lived on our street that we don’t know well except that he lived in the yellow house. He has now moved to a nursing home to live out his final days so this quilt is dedicated to my neighbor, Mr. M.
