Materials/Techniques: I used my mother's fabrics showing some of her embroidery.
Artist's Statement: Mom had Alzheimer's and never had time to finish some of her projects, so I did.
Dedication: For Mother who taught quilting to senior citizens in Grand Rapids, Michigan until Alzheimer's took away her ability to drive. Eventually it took away everything. When she went into a home her stash of fabric was donated to the Senior Center where she once volunteered.
This quilt is displayed with a hanging ring.
This quilt earned $25.00 for the AAQI.
