Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics; overlayed with silk organza, machine appliquéd and quilted.
Artist's Statement: I love making these small collaged quilts. They are quick, fun and spontaneous--so unlike my larger pieces. This is an updated version of broderie perse. I cut motifs from transparent fabrics like chiffon, arrange them in a pleasing design and stitch them down. Very easy, lots of fun!

Dedication: We all live in fear of the slow obliteration that is Alzheimer's. It has touched all of us and will continue to do so until we find a cure. I am happy to help support that research that will conquer this dreadful disease.
