Artist's Statement: The idea and name for the mini quilt represents the progression of my dad’s Alzheimer’s from the ability to still understand simple concepts to a “puzzled” look on his face when given a simple instruction. He is now in the latter stages of the disease and just turned 89 years old on April 8th.
