Materials/Techniques: Cotton; fusing, appliqué, free motion quilting, decorative machine stitching.
Artist's Statement: This piece was inspired by a Fairie Goddess of the month self challenge from the Fairie Goddess Mothers at Yahoo Groups and was donated as part of their pledge to donate 150 quiltlets to Ami Simms.
Dedication: To the wonderful caregivers at Juniper Communities of Aurora, Colorado, who so lovingly cared for my mother-in-law as she lost her battle with Alzheimer’s.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.
This quilt earned $65.25 for the AAQI.
