After arriving at the 2006 Nashville AQS show, I transferred into Nancy and Lynda's class at the last minute, arrived without any real preparation, learned, laughed, and expanded the original class project into this small quilt.
In honor of the Alzheimer's Association: the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer research. (In 2006, the Association commited nearly $21 million to research initiatives. Since awarding its first grants in 1982, the Association has funded more than $200 million in projects.) Research is truly at "the heart of the matter."
