Statement: I am making this pledge because of all I learned about Altzeimers from my friend, Debbie Q, whose mother passed away on Christmas Eve after a 12 year battle with this disease. On Boxing Day I found out my wonderful Aunt Olive has also been diagnosed as Stage 4 of Altzeimers and is declining quickly. Olive is a wonderful woman, full of wit and wisdom, and to think about the spark leaving her eyes breaks my heart.
