Statement: My friend Bill was in the last months of his battle with Alzheimer’s when Ami announced the AAQI. I instantly knew what my quilt would look like. I finished the top the afternoon after returning from Bill’s funeral. My quilt is now in the traveling exhibit. I’ve had three quilts auctioned and kept meaning to make more. I’m hoping the $1000 Pledge will be sufficient motivation to get busy and make the ones I’ve been meaning to make!
