Carol Kolf (Sheridan, WY)

Carol is a passionate quilter. When she isn’t working at her job as office manager of a crime victim advocacy center, she is quilting, visiting quilt shows, talking about quilts, or taking quilting classes. She learned to use a sewing machine as a Girl Scout and hasn’t stopped. She is a member of Sheridan’s Creative Fiber Guild, Wyoming State Quilt Guild, and Sisters of the Cloth. Carol likes to challenge herself with new techniques and has been trying out a variety of art quilt techniques in the four years she has been contributing to The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative. Carol has won numerous local quilting awards, and she is founder and co-organizer of Sheridan's National Quilting Day “Sew-In” for the past 6 years. Her traditional and art quilts can be seen at.
