Artist Statement: I've watched my father-in-law change because of Alzheimer's. He, his true self, is long gone. I want there to be a treatment, a cure, for this awful disease. I'm not a researcher, I'm a quilter, so this is what I can do to help.

The image on the label is of my father-in-law, Craig Goldsmith. The image is a stand-in for any of us who might draw the unlucky straw.

This quilt has a Split Sleeve.
