Materials/Techniques: Machine quilted whole cloth quilt, cotton fabrics, silk and cotton threads, silk blend batting.

Artist Statement: I designed the feathers and realized they looked somewhat like wings. I thought this would be a wonderful name for the quilt and selected red thread for the quilting. It was quite challenging to use contrasting thread, but it made a nice statement!
