The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI) is a Michigan nonprofit corporation designated as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your donations may be tax deductible on your federal return; check with your tax preparer.

Please include your email address so that we can thank you for your donation by email rather than spending extra money on postage.

If you are making a donation in memory of an individual who has passed, please know that we notify the family if we have an email address or street address for them. We share the names of people who have donated and only the total amount received in honor of that individual.

If you would prefer not to be acknowledged in this way, please let us know in the comment section. Similarly, if you have a way to contact the family and can share that information that would be appreciated otherwise we have no way of knowing unless the family contacts us.

We will never send you anything by mail that you didn't ask for. No yearly begging letter, no "free" calendar with our name on it, and no return address labels with your name on them. We want to spend every cent you give us on our mission, which is raising awareness and funding research, not trying to get you to donate more. We will ask you to join our AAQI Update and annoy you electronically, but the nice thing about that is you can always stop the emails, or just delete them if you don't want to hurt our feelings. And, we're very selfish. We don't sell, swap, loan, or share your email addresses with anyone.
