Statement: In 2007 I chaired the Never Sweat Needler's Quilt Festival which hosted the exhibit "Alzheimer's Forgetting Piece by Piece". The exhibit moved me as it did all who saw it. I realize the unfortunate thread that Alzheimer's and other dementias are weaving through my family and friends - Aunt Rhoda, Aunt Martie, Don Bachtell, & unfortunately others to come. I am doing this in the hope that research will find a cure to this disease!
