Materials/Techniques: This little quilt is all cotton. It was machine pieced and machine quilted. This black fabric with wonderful flowers is called 'Provence' and I have just fallen in love with it. The block design I used is traditional. It presents a little challenge in that you must use a partial seam in it, so I sewed these six blocks very carefully.

Artist Statement: I make little quilts because I can't help it! And I make them for AAQI because I want to support research to find medications and a cure!

Dedication: This is dedicated to the golfing friends of Andy. Andy is a professional in Cincinnati, OH who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's and had to retire from the job he loved in his early 50's. Andy has a group of guy friends who take him golfing as often as their schedules and the weather will allow. What a great group of friends Andy has!
