Materials/Techniques: This quilt is paper pieced on cotton fabric and trimmed with red rick rack.

Artist Statement: This quilt is dedicated to my husband. After 53 years of marriage and sharing a life together, he is now suffering with Alzheimer's dementia. He is currently a resident of the Masonic Village Health Care Center and we are now together in heart only. Even though our hearts are broken by this cruel disease, we are still bound together by our love.
