Materials/Techniques: Store-bought doily was used for the centerpiece and trimmed with green and gold ribbon. It was hand-stitched onto a green background and trimmed with a shamrock print. I hand quilted around the doily.

Artist Statement: My Dad's last name was Rudy. Far from being a saint, Rudy considered himself an Irishman because he was born on St. Patrick's Day in 1905. Rudy insisted the celebration each year was for his birthday. He was very proud of being born on St. Patrick's Day.
