Materials/Techniques: Batik fabrics, traditionally pieces from 1/2 inch strips of fabric with 1/8 inch seams, then lightly quilted with clear thread.

Artist Statement: This idea struck in a fit of madness and I just had to try it. It was harder than I thought it would be, but it is here, and I am more enlightened about the idea now.
