Artist Statement: I have been wanting to put to fabric a sentiment about the last remembered smile or kiss from a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer's. The smile they have for you when they look at you and truly KNOW who you are...a recognition smile...a recognition kiss...a recognition expression that says,”I know you and am happy with you in my life”.
