Materials/Techniques: My sister-in-law, Mary Wiessner, made this block as a tester block for a baby quilt. This one did not make it into the design, so she gave it to me and I lightly quilted it, added piping and crystals with a traditional binding.

Artist Statement: This little twisted heart block was the perfect size for an AAQI quilt and cute enough to stand alone.
