Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, "silk" leaves, brush work, fused, rough edge machine appliqué and heavily quilted, signed, piped, bound.

Artist Statement: This Northern Saw-whet owl is one of the smallest of owls. Like Norma, it is keeping watch over its territory.

Dedication: In memory of Norma Gunn who started our church soup kitchen and worked for many years supervising it.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
