Artist Statement: This quilt honors a beautiful lady. Toward the end of her life, when she sometimes didn't recognize me, I'd remind her who I was. Her face would break into a beautiful smile and I knew there was a place inside where she still loved me.

Dedication: In honor of Thelma Haslett Camp, my mother-in-law, who lost her fight against Alzheimer’s in November, 2007.
