Materials/Techniques: This little quilt is all cotton and it was machine pieced and machine quilted. The fabrics are batiks. I don't work with them very often, but I was drawn to the warmth of these fabrics. With just the houses, it was incomplete, so I added some buttons and a little monkey from my button hoard.

Artist Statement: I am inspired to make little quilts by the stories of the caregivers. As Alzheimer's takes away a patient's personality, it is the family and friends who suffer most. Only research can change this.
