Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: This quiltlet is made of batik, commercial print fabric and denim. There are three small charms (hands) attached with embroidery floss. The quilt includes raw edge and reverse appliqué and there is straight stitch as well as free motion quilting.
Artist Statement: This quilt represents both the complexity and the beauty of life. Life is often not neat nor predictable and frequently we are faced with pulling order and meaning out of the abstract. We come away frayed, but stronger for our trials.
