Materials/Techniques: The quilt is made with batik fabrics, using raw edge appliqué and the quilting was done with cotton thread and monofilament thread. The embellishing was done with Sharpie fabric markers.

Artist Statement: The lyrics "If you believe in forever, then life is just a one night stand." have been comforting to me when I think of people that are no longer here with us. In the last few months several people I have known have passed away, most of them years and years earlier than expected.
