Materials/Techniques: Machine piecing, raw-edge appliqué, machine quilting including some free-motion techniques, hand beading.

Artist Statement: I chose a simple tree form to experiment with raw edge appliqué, and the result reminds me of the beautiful rolling hills that stretch across the Midwest, with poplars all in a row marking snow lines and farm boundaries. I added beads for wildflowers.
