Width: 7.5" Length: 7.5"
Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Machine pieced of all cotton and batik fabrics, six strands of red embroidery floss were used in hand quilting the breakthrough blocks, and a vintage selvage was used as a binding by a company that is no longer in business.
Artist Statement: This mini was made from leftover HST's from other projects. The center blocks are highlighted with large quilting stitches in red to emphasize the breakthrough coming for those with the Alzheimer's disease. I believe the cure for it is 'just around the corner.'
