Width: 6.5" Length: 7"
Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Machine pieced, stained glass leading is glued down, cotton and batik fabrics were used.
Artist Statement: This stained glass mini was made from a pattern I drew for one block only and then rotated the other 3 blocks. The pieces were sewn together randomly by 'eyeballing' the sizes and going by a rough estimate rather than precise paper piecing. I like the effect it gave. To reduce bulk, the leading was attached after the piecing was done. The bright colors are meant to bring joy and hope for a better tomorrow. There is hope in finding a cure!
