Materials/Techniques: This little quilt was made from an embroidered vintage dresser scarf that I purchased at a garage sale. I added piping that is my hand-dyed fabric, a batik backing and binding, machine quilting with a hand-sewn binding.

Artist Statement: I wanted to give this vintage item new life as a Priority: Alzheimer's Quilt because someone worked very hard to make it years ago. Just because something is old does not mean that it should be tossed away, rather it should be treasured. I hope that the buyer of this quilt will find it to be a treasure.
