Materials/Techniques: Heavy background free motion quilting with silver netting overlay.

Artist Statement: My brother-in-law has terminal lung and bone cancer. After a recent visit, I felt a feeling of being "lost" when we thought of the inevitable outcome of his disease and the impact of the family. These feelings inspired me to create a quilt to recognize not only cancer, but also Alzheimer's spouses, sons, daughters and extended family members who feel the same way.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to my brother-in-law Grant and my sister Pat. I would also like to recognize those who suffer from any terminal disease.
