Materials/Techniques: Except for the solid brown fabric and the background of the center, all of the fabrics came from 5" square samples of a line of Benartex fabrics. Traditionally pieced and quilted with clear thread.

Artist Statement: Medallion quilts are a favorite of mine. Usually starting with a central block of some sort, I let the fabrics I have decided to use give me an idea of what I want to do next for each round. Sometimes it is the fabric only, other rows are pieced strips. They are a joy to design and make.
