Materials/Techniques: Various shades of green in solids and prints, with a marbled background. Traditionally pieced and quilted with clear thread. The block is Box Quilt by Nancy Page, published in the Nashville Banner, 20 March 1934.

Artist Statement: I like optical illusions and this quilt is one of those that can change the design before your eyes. Maybe the star is the first thing seen, or possibly the four boxes are more prominent. It is your choice, I'm sure both can easily be seen.
