Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabrics, Hobbs Heirloom batting, machine quilted, hand beaded.

Artist Statement: Africa may be called 'The Dark Continent' but I see more bright colors there than anywhere else. The women wear their favorite articles without regard to complimentary colors or patterns. I love seeing the babies tied on their mother's backs with brightly colored cloths.
