Artist Statement: My grandchildren call me 'Gogo' - it's a Zulu word meaning 'revered older woman.’ My grandchildren are very important to me and each has at least one quilt made with love by their Gogo. These fabrics were left over from my youngest granddaughter - my sweet Gigi.
