Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed wool, commercially printed cotton, hand dyed and commercially dyed embroidery floss, ribbon, vintage button, beads. Hand appliqué and broderie perse, hand embroidery, braiding, beading, hand quilting.

Artist Statement: After having taken several classes with Sue Spargo I was inspired to create a folk art bird with wool and cotton and lots of hand embroidery. This bird may be a little over top with the embellishment, but that's what makes it so much fun!
