Materials/Techniques: Orphan block, 100% cotton fabric, 80/20 batting, appliqué, fusible web, decorative thread, metallic thread.

Artist Statement: I used an orphan block from a Christmas quilt I pieced in 2000. It was fun to quilt and I got to use my metallic thread and new Topstitch needle. I am hoping that I now get the incentive to quilt the top! In my defense, I have not quilted it because I have 3 daughters and they all want it. I have 2 more Christmas quilt tops but as they pointed out, they are not the same.

Dedication: To my neighbor Jean, who was a snowbird, but has not been able to travel since Alzheimer's took over her daily life.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $60.05 for the AAQI.
