Materials/Techniques: This quilt is made with Hexagon blocks, constructed using 1-inch / 60-degree triangle pieces. Materials used are commercial cotton fabric, cotton/polyester variegated thread, polyester ball fringe trim and Swarovski crystals.

Artist Statement: While my Mom lived with Alzheimer's, I was fortunate that she always recognized me. With the loss of her mind, she acquired a worry free attitude and actually seemed quite happy. "Don't Worry, Be Happy" became my description for her condition.
