Materials/Techniques: My sister-in-law, Mary Wiessner, made these blocks as tester blocks for a baby quilt. This one did not make it into the design, so she gave it to me and I lightly quilted it, added piping and crystals with a traditional binding.

Artist Statement: These little twisted heart blocks were the perfect size for an AAQI quilt. Cute enough to stand alone, but I made three matching pairs (see #9451).
